SYNOPSIS: 

Grant is an extremely talented singer/songwriter, but overly confident, arrogant and selfish. Immediately following the signing of a record deal, Grant is involved in a terrible accident. Waking in hospital, he learns that the accident has left him partially blind and unable to play the guitar properly. To make matters worse, he also learns that his band have replaced him and are now releasing the songs he wrote through the record label they signed with. Feeling betrayed, Grant spirals into depression. During Grant’s physical recovery in the hospital, he meets Mia, a young aspiring singer who is dealing with a terminal illness. The two of them find a connection with each other, and Mia helps Grant to relearn how to play and sing again. They begin to write music together, and Grant rediscovers his passion for music and learns that success and happiness are not always where you think they’ll be.

The year is 2320.  Humanity's wealthiest and most powerful have walled themselves
off from the rest of society, in a fortified city known as the Highlands.
The under classes are left to fend for themselves in a lawless wasteland known as the Torelands,
run by vicious mobs, fighting over the limited resources the world has left to offer.
Bloodsports and gladiator arenas have become the most popular pastime, fueling the meager economy
and keeping the world in line through fear.
The biggest event is an annual road rally in which contestants enter the competition
with homemade vehicles and race across the harsh wastelands in a death race called The ZigZag.
The prize for the winner is lifelong membership into the Highlands.
As the world prepares for the 72nd annual ZigZag, a bounty hunter named Axel is hired by
an organisation from the Highlands to track down a ZigZag contestant,
who has disappeared days before the race is due to take place.
As Axel hunts for his bounty, he begins to uncover the threads of
a conspiracy that threatens to disrupt the world as he knows it!
